Nor Cal Swarm - Crop for the Cure

Hi -- I had a blast at the Nor Cal Swarm this past weekend. 140 ladies, most with Cricuts, spending the day scrapbooking and Cropping for the Cure in Rocklin, CA. There was door prizes, cartridges for everyone, food, silent auction, and a raffle for a Pink Ribbon Quilt. I loved to shop, and did my share. While walkin around I saw ladies working on cards, cruise and Halloween layouts, and Monique's kits. I borrowed the Paisley cart from a new friend, and went to town cutting lots of words and hair dryers (my daughter is a hairdresser). It took me two nights to put this layout together and visits to two scrapbook stores to find the "ribbon" paper. I used lots of carts on this layout. (Home Accents, Home Decor, Cindy Loo, A Childs Year, George, Indie Art, and WIMG) It was fun, yet emotional to make. I am going to write the names of friends who have survived breast cancer around the edges of the pages. Enjoy.
